In previous years Joe was extremely involved with wrestling and track, so much so that he earned the captain position in both sports. Since those days he has been exploring a multitude of fitness arenas over the past two decades. From boxing to interval training, obstacles races to long distance road biking, Joe has spent years and years focusing on his fitness and exploring what disciplines promote consistency and progressive results. The discipline that brought him closest to that goal was Crossfit.
After three years of studying the sport, Joe found himself enjoying the process of coaching movements and developing strategies within the battalion’s community. His love and commitment to bring fitness into as many willing people’s lives, and more importantly, observing the confidence and happiness it promotes in others inspires and drives him as a coach.
His goals are simple: teach through example, respect everyone, and keep moving the needle.
